I first started working with Debbie because my personal finances were out of control. I had racked up substantial amounts of credit card debt without even realizing it and had no idea how to come out from under it. I am a solopreneur and was also looking for some direction for my business finances. Debbie saved me! We started working on a budget that actually made sense for me, tracking spending, and made a plan to tackle my debt in a strategic way so I wasn't just throwing money at it with no real progress.

Being a young entrepreneur, I had to get my personal finances right asap, and thankfully I met Debbie at the right time. I did not know how much of a burden and stress my personal finances had been on me until Debbie taught me a way to manage money in a stress-free way. I loved that I didn't have to go back to previous month's worth of bank statements and enter them onto spreadsheets! Her way is so unique and smart.
Before working with her, I was not making nowhere near much money as I'm making today. Last year, I started with only $80 in January from my business. Managing my finances has always been very difficult for me and over the years as I got into adulthood, it became incredibly difficult to navigate especially with credit card debts too. I came across Debbie’s page in November 2022 and something about the way she spoke drew me in. I think it was the way she was so confident about helping people transform their finances and making it manageable. I decided to go through her coaching program with much hesitancy, as I could not afford it at the time and boy, am I glad I did. I’ve learned so much from learning how to manage my spending to having a budget and creating space for enjoying the money I work so hard for and mostly, not feeling guilty and ashamed of where I am in my financial goals. Financial literacy is something everyone should have. When you know what your money is doing and where it’s going, you begin to feel less stressed about it.
My mindset has definitely shifted from stressing about money to having freedom and taking responsibility for it. I’m developing a very conscious relationship with my finances and it makes me feel empowered. All this is thanks to Debbie for aiding me and also to me for putting in the work to get where I am now. She taught me so much and I’m sorry our time is up as far as money coaching is concern, but I’ve made a new friend. She set up a budget for me and helped me know how to use it and the importance of it. If you have any questions she is very helpful. I would recommend her.
Going from not really knowing what we had to work with to paying our home off and being debt free is amazing to me.

Thanks to coaching with Debbie I am now sticking to our plan which is life changing! I had no idea this could be done. I’m earmarking funds for larger expenses and watching my savings grow and my debts decrease. I no longer stress when I have to buy home heating oil or have service done on my car because the money is there. I'm also depositing money into my Roth IRA. I feel like such an adult, lol.
I will be paying off the last credit card soon. The words 'extra funds' still blows my mind! Budgeting in fun money was a game changer as well. I no longer feel guilty for spending this money instead of throwing it at my debt. I have a handle on my finances because of the opportunity I've had to work with Debbie.
